Today is the day! So ready to just clock out of the work week already and dive into the weekend to be with my church family for 3 days straight! This year's Winter Retreat theme is 'Unstoppable Church.' Can't wait to hear God's message to us and spend some quality time with my fellow brothers and sisters. : )
Wow, it's already been a month since I visited New York City with some of my best buddies. It was the most epic trip yet! And I couldn't have asked for a better start to the new year. (Thank you, Jesus!) We got to explore the beautiful, bustling city in a mere five days time and at the coldest time of the year, but it was so worth it. In fact, the first day we arrived, it was said to be the coldest day in New York since 1896 (if I'm correct)! I never knew what 9 degrees felt like until that day. But we didn't care how cold it was. We still explored the city very much excitedly and loved every moment of it. Here's New York in a nutshell for ya. All taken with the iphone5. Enjoy!
Until next time!
The brother and I discovered this gem of a food truck on our way to church on Friday night. Let me just say, Barcelona Steak Fries. I think this may just have to become our Friday night dinner ritual. I'm down.
My friends rekindled the desire in me to play ping pong with the intention of actually trying and improving my skills (and I may or may not have bought myself a paddle today).
I went to a national soccer game for the very first time! (Go, Korea! All the way!) Now on my bucket list is to go to at least one World Cup series game in my lifetime.
And last but not least, fell madly in love with the beach all over again.
